Primary Schools Triathlon Report
What a magnificent day it was for the Primary Schools Triathlon. Burnie Primary School was represented by 43 courageous students who eagerly participated in this very challenging event either individual, in a team or both. All of our students participated with great determination, supported each other amazingly well and represented BPS with respect.
Our team consisted of Billy, Louis, Hudson, Johnty, Nash H, Harry, Jem, Nash A, Joshua, Ryan, Tobias, Hayden, Oliver R, Maitland, Oliver D, Brooklyn, Paige, Quinn, Zoey, Ellie, Amarli, Kobi, Bentley, Archie, Sashan, Ella D, Milla, Sari, Oscar, Ella V, Elijah, Brodie, Lucas, Ruby, Sienna, Isabella, Layla, Keira, Ada, Charlotte, Erin. Alicia and Tilly B. Unfortunately, Samantha who was sick and Tilly E broken arm!! were unable to join us and participate in the team’s event. I would like to thank Zoey and Jem who after participating in the individual event also joined a team filling in for Samantha and Tilly E because “I don’t want my friends to miss out”. What thoughtful students we have at BPS.!
Whilst participation was the theme of the day, we did have some outstanding achievements; Amarli 3rd Joshua 4th and Hudson 5th in their respective individual races and the team of Louis, Hudson and Sashan winning the teams event in their section.
