Going to school not only promotes academic success, but also helps build important social skills, relationships and confidence. Every COVID-safe measure is being taken, so that every student can learn in class safely.

HOWEVER, if you child is feeling unwell (tummy upsets, cold and/or flu symptoms etc) we ask you to keep your child home.

It is important that your child feels connected to the school and their class whilst they are convalescing.  If a student has been away for two consecutive days the teacher will touch base with the family on the third day.  This is a way to support your child to stay connected. This may be a phone call, or via seesaw message. If you would like support before then, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or the office.

If your child is away for more than two consecutive days we ask that you provide the school with a medical certificate or statutory declaration. A statutory declaration form is attached or can be made available from the front office.

• There are several options available to parents to explain children’s absences:
  contact the school by phone – 6433 3655
• If your child is absent from school for any unknown reason, an SMS will be sent to your mobile. A response to this text is another option to explain the absence.
