Celebrating Student Successes

Netball
On the weekend the Wendy Berry netball tourmanet was held in Burnie featuring teams as far as Launceston, St Helen to Circular Head. It was wonderful to see so many Burnie Primary Students competing. The under 11's team finished third for the tournament, with Lucy Redman recieving the Most Valuable Player Award for under 11's.

Under 12's won the tournment for their age group, with Lily Harris awarded with the Most Valuable Player Award. Congratulations to all students involved in the tournament over the weekend.

Congratulations to Penny Sanderson who was selceted for the Tasmania State Hockey team. We wish Penny all the best when she represents Tasmania in the under 12's, in Hobart early in August.
