Celebrating Reconciliation Week with Milpara
This morning Hudson, Imogen, Paige, Noor, Sari and I went to the little Milpara. We sang and done a sign language to their acknowledgment of country. Then nine of the Milpara children and we went to raise the flag at the front of our school. – Molly
On the 1st of January some of the grade 6 leaders including me went to little Milpara to do their version of acknowledgement of country and then walked to the front of the school to raise the Australian and Indigenous flags. -Hudson
On Thursday 6 grade 6’s went over to little Milpara. Little Milpara read and did Auslan to their acknowledgement of country. We then went back to school and raised the Australian flag and Indigenous flag.
