The Year 4 students have been participating in a buddy program with Umina Park residents. Last week, over two afternoons, 24 students walked to Umina Park to participate in some activities with the residents. Students started with a Venn Diagram to find what they had in common with their buddy. Once this was finished, some of our students amazed their buddies with some card tricks. We then finished the program with some card games. Students thoroughly enjoyed this experience, as did the residents. Next week the remaining 12 students will visit.
