Join us in the student2student reading program!

student2student (s2s) is a confidence building reading practice program run by The Smith Family for students who are interested in getting some practice with reading so that they can be more confident when they are at school. It is reading with young people, and it is for young people.

Students read with a buddy using our secure online platform.  The program is delivered at home after school or on weekends, with students reading 2-3 times per week for 20 minutes, over an 18-week period.

Join us at the Burnie Library Learning Club!

Learning Clubs provide a safe and supportive out-of-school learning environment where primary students can participate in activities that develop their literacy and social skills.

The Burnie Library Learning Club is operating on Thursdays from 3.30 – 4.30 pm until the end of Term 2.  Our trained tutors are ready to help your child work on the specific skills they’d like to improve, with lots of individual attention provided.
