Did you know that celebrating student success not only makes students feel good but also significantly impacts their memory, learning, motivation and other cognitive functions? When our students receive positive feedback for something that they have done, it is essentially a signal to their brain saying, ‘do it again’.

At BPS, one way we celebrate student success is by recognising when a student shows a value in action. We do this by:

• ‘Catching’ a student showing a value in action
• Awarding this student with a values token
• Students will go into a fortnightly draw for a subway voucher which will be announced over the PA system on a Friday afternoon
• Being celebrated in our newsletter
