Celebrating the Value of Responsibility
Students have continued building their knowledge and understanding of their 'Rights and Responsibilities'. As part of the Early Childhood morning meeting this week, our Grade 1 students shared their work on 'Children have the right to choose their own friends and join groups'.

What does this look like?
It looks like people playing with lots of different friends.
What does this right mean?
This means we can play with different people on different days. Playing with different people down not mean we aren't still friends.
What is the responsibility of the student?
We need to make sure we consider other people's feelings. It is the student's responsibility to sort out small problems or disagreements.
What is the responsibility of the teacher?
If you are playing and get hurt, the duty teacher has the responsibility of helping you. They are watching to see if we are happily playing with our friends.
