Dear Parents and Friends,

Our major fundraiser for the year, the Trivia Night, was a huge success! We as a P&F could not be happier with the support that was shown prior to and during the event. Funds raised will go towards supporting resources for our students, watch this space for what they might be.

We have started sourcing donations for our Father’s Day raffle. We will be asking for items such as car wash items, chocolates, drink bottles, gardening items, aftershave, mugs, and all things dad’s like. All funds raised from this raffle will go towards end of year celebrations for the students. Donations will need to be delivered to the front office by Wednesday 21^st August as raffle tickets will be available to purchase from the 22^nd August. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 30^th August, just in time for Father’s Day. Please see our poster below.

The P&F have had a long-standing fundraising campaign with the Entertainment Book. For 27 years, Entertainment has created a local community with its membership program by brining together members, fundraisers and merchants that no one else can. Fundraising is at the heart of who they are, and they love the opportunity to help their fundraising partners make a difference. Their merchants offer incredible offers and experiences, and their members embrace the opportunity to get great offers. Up to 20% of a membership sale can be allocated to us, Burnie Primary School, it just needs to be selected during the purchase process.
