I am thrilled to take a moment to celebrate the outstanding success of our students in the recent school basketball tournament. We had four incredible teams representing our school and their hard work, dedication, and sportspersonship truly shone throughout the competition. 

 A special congratulations goes to our Year 6 boys' team, who demonstrated remarkable teamwork and determination to secure the title of runners up. Their effort not only brought pride to our school but also exemplified the Burnie Primary School way through their teamwork, resilience and positivity.  

Tomorrow, we are thrilled to see 42 of our students participating in the All Schools Triathlon! We wish each of them the best of luck as they showcase their hard work, dedication, and athleticism. Whether they're swimming, cycling, or running, we know they will give it their all and represent our school with pride. Let's cheer them on and celebrate their efforts as they take on this exciting challenge! Good luck!
