In grade 5/6A & 5/6B we have been looking at recounts which includes the text types newspaper reports and diary entries.  We also looked at perspective  and had to understand whose perspective the recount was from.  We were able to choose a topic for our newspaper report and the information for our diary entry came from our work in history learning about the Stolen generation.
