Super 10s
For four weeks, we have been going to Launceston to play in the Super 10s competition. The Super 10s is a team-based competition for boys and girls under 10 years old. The Northern Block which we played in included players from Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. There were four teams of four players each. The teams were named after famous Australian professional players: Di Minaur, Barty, Alcott and Millman.
Our team was called Di Minaur. After three rounds, we made it to the finals. On Saturday, 7 December, we played Team Barty in the finals. We won our doubles. After that, we played singles. At the end, the winning team was announced. We were so happy when we heard our team won! We felt very nervous when we started playing the Super 10s competition, but as the four weeks whizzed past, we began to feel more confident.
