Working Together is for eligible children to access and participate in free, quality early learning in the year before Kindergarten. The idea is to engage children who might not otherwise be accessing early learning in the year before they attend Kindergarten. The model supports the child, builds the skills and knowledge of the Early Childhood Teacher and educators to engage effectively with families and put in place any wrapround support that might be required to address barriers to access. This work is supported by a team of Engagement Workers, myself included, who work across the LGA with early learning services, families and community services.
