Grade 4 pinmatik/Rocky Cape Excursion

On Wednesday, 26 August, Grade 4's went on an adventure to pinmatik/Rocky Cape National Park. We went on a bushwalk (up a hill!), admired the view and explored rock pools. Jye, the Discovery Ranger shared with us knowledge about Indigenous people who used to live in the caves and the foods they would eat. The big rocks were formed over time from heat and are made from quartzite. We did not enter the caves and rock shelters to show respect to the traditional owners. We really enjoyed our excursion and spending time together in nature.
