Friday, 13 November students will be dressing up in clothes that represent who they are; What makes me, me?

Everyone is different. The Student Representative Council at Burnie Primary wish to celebrate this diversity and what it is that makes us special.

The message the SRC wishes to send on Friday is about celebrating and being proud of our differences and how bullying others due to their differences and individuality is not okay.

The SRC also wants students to understand that bullying has a negative impact upon the lives of others and that we need to take responsibility for our actions as they have consequences.

Whenever something like bullying occurs, it’s always good to talk to someone you trust to release the negative emotions we may have on the inside. Sometimes that person can help us find a solution, too.
