After three games on Saturday, we were all very tired but excited to be in a Grand Final! For the Grand Final Burnie Primary played against Our Lady Of Lords. We won by 15 points the scores were 47- 32. After we won the Grand Final we felt sore, happy, excited and tired. Johnty & Harry |

We lost, but they were very tall. About 2 hours later, we played Table Cape Primary and we won by 15 points. On Sunday, we played against Somerset Primary, and they smashed us. They were good. Then we played against Table Cape Primary again and at the end, we were 1 behind. Then Chas did a full-court lay up in the last few seconds, and we won by 1 point. It was a good game. After that everyone was very tired, ready to go back home and rest. Brianna Coates |
5-6 Boys Team |
On the 7th and 8th of November, a group of Grade 5-6 boys went to Devonport to play school basketball. Our team consisted of Ryan D, Oliver R, Brooklyn H, Hayden K, Tobias J, Ryan D, Jiaming L, Bryce D, Nash A and our coach, Mr Dome and assistant coach Lewis R. On Saturday, our first game was against Penguin District School. We ended up losing by 10, but altogether a good game. After that, we had a game off and then played Devonport Christian School. We were playing well until half-time, but they were just a better team than us. We were playing great defence. We were just too small. If we were a bit taller, it would have been a breeze. On Sunday, we played Port Sorell Primary School in the morning and won. We all played well, and all scored in that game. In our 2nd game on Sunday, it was the semi-final and we didn’t play our best. We lost that game, so we played for 3rd and 4th. We played Our Lady Of Lourdes it was a tough game and we lost by 8. We were playing well until 5 mins to go but we just ran out of energy. That was our grade 5-6 basketball tournament on the weekend. Tobias Jordan |
