National Day of Action – Bullying no Way
Bullying, No way!
"Hello students we’ve come to talk about bullying and its effects.
Everyone is different as we all know, but why make fun of it?
The reason we have all dressed up today is to represent our differences and how special we are.
We’re here today to celebrate and be proud of our difference and how bullying our difference is not okay.
The activity we ran today reflects on the effect bullying and the permanent damage it leaves. We need to take responsibility for our actions as they have consequences.
Whenever something like bullying occurs, it’s always good to talk to someone you trust to release the negative emotions we may have on the inside. Sometimes that person can help us find a solution, too.
Today you each received a wristband and when you have it on it shows you’re a part of the Burnie primary school bullying no way team and are ready to take a stand against bullying.
Thankyou everyone for listening we hope you can take something from what we’ve said with you and remember bullying leaves permanent damage."
