Primary State Athletic Carnival - 6 May 2021 at St Leonards Athletics Centre Launceston

A large and enthusiastic contingent of Burnie Primary School athletes represented the North West at the recent PSST State Athletic Carnival. All athletes participated in a positive manner, giving their best effort and supported each other in a respectful way. Well done to all our Burnie Primary athletes who placed in their respective events:

Grade 3 Girls;

Penny 9^th in the heat of the 100m and 5^th in the final of the 800m

Grade 4 Girls;

Indigo 4^th in the heat of the 100m and 5^th in the final of the 100m

Milla  7^th in the heat of the 100m

Grade 5 Girls;

Ellie 3^rd in the heat of the 100m, 1^st in the final of the Long Jump and 5^th in the final of the Shot-Put

Grade 6 Girls;

Amarli 3^rd in the 800m final and 4^th in the final of the 1500m

Emara 2^nd in the final of the Shot-Put

Grade 3 Boys;

Lucas 6^th in the heat of the 100m

Louis 5^th in the final of the 200m

Sashan 3^rd in the final of the 800m

Grade 4 Boys;

Hudson 6^th in the final of the Long Jump

Grade 5 Boys;

Nash 1^st in the heat of the 100m, 3^rd in the final of the 100m, Nash 1^st in the final of the 200m, 2^nd in the final of the High Jump and 3^rd in the final of the Long Jump.

Harry 6^th in the final of the 1500m

Grade 6 Boys;

Joshua 8^th in the heat of the 100m and 6^th in the final of the 200m
