What Makes Me Me?

This is the question that Grade 1 has been asking themselves this term.  We discussed how important our families are in making us the way we are, and then used tongue depressors and other craft materials to represent the people in our family. They look really great!

We read the book “All the Ways to be Smart”, and then discussed the various things that we are good at.  We recorded our thinking in our whole class learning journal, which everyone is welcome to come and look at.

We then had a big think about the things/activities we would like to improve at. After a long discussion about how we can improve, we then recorded our ideas again. Below are some photos of our learning.
