Twilight Carnival

Last Tuesday we had a significant number of students participate in the Twilight Athletics Carnival in Penguin.  It is an excellent achievement to make it through to this carnival and all participants should be very proud of their efforts.

The results from the Twilight Carnival were as follows;

Grade 3 Girls – Ellie Rayner was 3^rd in the 200m and 100m

Grade 3 Boys – Blake Bracken was 1^st in the 200m and 2^nd in the 100m

Grade 4 Boys - Bailey Ambrose 4th in the 75m, Oliver Rattray 2nd in the 200m and 4^th in the 100m, Nash Armstrong 5^th in the 200m and Ryan Dick 8^th in the 200m, Xander Kirkland was 3^rd in the 400m and Joshua Butcher was 3^rd in the 100m

Grade 5 Boys Bryce Dunham 1^st in the 100m and 200m

Grade 6 Girls Lottee Rolls 3^rd in the 200m and 5^th in the 100m

As a result of these performances and results on the day of the North West Athletic Carnival the following students have been selected to represent the North West in Launceston at the Statewide Carnival;  Lottee Rolls, Taya Munday, Bryce Dunham, Oliver Rattray, Joshua Butcher, Ellie Rayner and Blake Bracken. Congratulations to all of these athletes we wish you all the best on the day.
